Four steps from invisible to recommended
AI visibility is how well AI assistants can find, understand and recommend your business when a customer asks. Not a ranking position: whether you are in the answer at all, and how. Tap each step.

One answer, not ten links
A Google search gives ten links and the customer compares. An AI assistant gives one answer naming two or three businesses. If you are not one of them, the customer never sees you, and nothing in your analytics will tell you it happened.
Ranking on Google does not mean AI recommends you. The two overlap, but AI engines weigh consistent facts, clear answers and what other sites say about you.
GEO vs SEOOne answer
- 1A café the engine trusts
- 2Another it can describe clearly
- 3One more with good reviews
- ?Your business
Two or three names. If yours is not one of them, the customer never sees you.
We ask the AI what your customers ask
We do not guess how AI sees you. We ask it, record the answers, and read your site the way its crawlers do.

Benchmark score
One number from 0 to 100 for how visible you are across the engines tested, with a plain rating. Built to track change over time, not to compare you with another industry.
Named in passing, rarely recommended.

A snapshot, then a trend
The free scan shows where you stand today. A plan re-asks the same questions on a schedule, so you can see the trend.

What a scan tells you
- Whether the engines name you for real buyer questions
- Who they name instead
- Whether AI crawlers can read your site
- The few fixes most likely to move the result
What it cannot tell you
- What every user sees: answers vary by person, place and time
- A permanent position: models update and answers move both ways
- Sales: a mention is a signal, not an enquiry
- A guarantee: no provider controls AI answers
Every scan is dated
So progress is judged on the same questions over time.
Same questions each time
On paid plans, so a change in the result reflects a real change.

Questions about the scanner
Is the scanner free?
Yes. The free scan tests ChatGPT and Claude and takes a couple of minutes. It is limited to 2 scans a day per connection and 5 per email address.
Why only ChatGPT and Claude on the free scan?
They are the two engines every Geo One client is measured on, so a free result is directly comparable with a client's baseline. Paid plans add Gemini, Perplexity or DeepSeek depending on the plan.
Why does my score change between scans?
AI answers vary with the model version, the wording of the question, location and timing. That is why paid plans scan on a fixed schedule with the same questions, and every scan is dated. Judge the trend, not one run.
Will a high score guarantee customers?
No. No provider controls AI answers. A higher score means you are named and recommended more often in the answers we sampled. It is a strong signal, not a promise.
Can I see my competitors?
The scan shows who the engines named instead of you. Ongoing monitoring of named competitors is part of Silver (4 competitors) and Gold (6).
