10 Best GEO Agencies in Malaysia for AI Search Visibility (2026)

11 min read19 October 2026

The best GEO agency in Malaysia in 2026, on six checks anyone can verify from a public web page, is Geo One: the only one of ten that leads with GEO rather than bolting it onto SEO, publishes its prices (from RM500 a month), publishes its minimum term, measures AI visibility with its own scanner, names a client with a dated figure, and says in writing that it cannot guarantee a citation. Rankpage and SeenBy Digital pass three of the six checks; Cleverus, JustSimple and Primal two; Cleverly, Hashmeta and MYSense one; MediaPlus Digital none. Five of the ten publish prices, from RM500 to RM8,000 or more a month; five quote on request. All ten are ranked below from their own websites, checked on 19 October 2026, and the scorecard is printed so you can disagree with the order.

GEO, Generative Engine Optimisation, is the work of getting a business named, recommended or cited inside the answers that ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews generate. If the term is new to you, what GEO is and how it differs from SEO are covered in two short reads. This page assumes you already want it and are choosing who to pay for it.

Disclosure: Geo One wrote this page and ranks first on it. We chose the six checks, so read them before you read the order. Every fact about another agency was read from that agency’s own site on the date above; nothing is inferred, and we did not use our scanner on anyone. Competitors are named, not linked. If you run one of these agencies and something is wrong or out of date, email hello@geoone.my and we will correct it and note the change.

Prices are the figures each agency prints on its own site. “Not published” is not a criticism; it means you will have to ask. Terms are the same: a blank means the site does not say.

How we ranked the GEO agencies

Six questions, each answerable yes or no from a public web page. We chose them because they are the questions buyers actually ask us, and because they cannot be answered with adjectives. One point each; ties are broken alphabetically. The scorecard is below the questions.

  1. Is GEO the primary service, or an add-on? An agency that leads with GEO lives or dies on AI answers, whatever else it offers. An SEO agency with a GEO page may be excellent, but its incentives are split.
  2. Does it publish a price? A published price is a commitment. A quote is a negotiation.
  3. What is the minimum term? Month to month, quarterly and six months all appear on this list. Each is defensible; the point is whether it is written down.
  4. How does it measure AI visibility? Which engines, how often, and can you see the raw answers? This is the question that separates GEO from relabelled SEO.
  5. Does it name a result? A dated figure for a named client, with its gaps, beats a wall of logos.
  6. What does it refuse to claim? Several of these agencies say in writing that no one can guarantee an AI citation. That sentence is worth more than most case studies.

A “No” means we could not find it on a public page on 19 October 2026, not that it does not exist. Hashmeta, for example, publishes a six-month case study with a 340% citation figure, but the client is unnamed, so it does not pass check five as written. Any agency can send us the page and we will update the score.

The ten GEO agencies in Malaysia, in order

1. Geo One

Geo One is a Kuala Lumpur agency built on Pexalo, an AI automation company. GEO is the primary service: making Malaysian businesses appear in the answers that ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and DeepSeek generate, and measuring it. AEO (structuring content to be the direct answer) and SEO are done alongside, because 78% of Malaysians still cross-check AI answers on Google, but every plan is built and priced around AI visibility first. The work is done by sixteen AI Employees (strategy, competitor intelligence, content, FAQs, citations, technical GEO, internal linking, entity and knowledge graph, visibility monitoring and the rest) with human editorial review on every piece, and each client gets a timestamped monthly scan. The free scan is public: it asks ChatGPT and Claude three questions a buyer in your category would ask and shows you the answers, named or not.

Why first: the only agency of the ten that passes all six checks. Price and term: published in full on the pricing page. A one-time RM1,000 Foundation Setup (baseline scan, GEO and AEO audit, competitor benchmark, roadmap), then Bronze at RM500, Silver at RM1,000 or Gold at RM2,000 a month at introductory rates on a six-month minimum term. Standard rates from 1 January 2027 are RM1,200, RM2,500 and RM4,800. Proof: one dated result. Omega Pets, a Malaysian pet care brand, moved from 0 to 30 out of 100 in two weeks on a scan of 36 AI answers across four platforms dated 22 August 2026; 25 of the 36 still did not cite the site. We publish the gap with the win. What we will not claim: a number of citations, a position, or a date. Best for: an SME that wants to see prices before a call and a measured baseline before a contract. What we do not have: a long client list or a track record across many industries. Yet.

2. Rankpage

Rankpage is a Kuala Lumpur SEO agency with offices listed in Singapore and Hong Kong and “10 years search experience”. Its GEO page lists an AI search visibility audit, prompt and query research, entity optimisation, technical GEO and structured data, llms.txt setup, digital PR and brand-mention building, and E-E-A-T work. Measurement runs on AIRM, its own AI visibility tracker, reporting AI share of voice, prompt visibility, citations, brand accuracy, sentiment, competitor visibility and AI referral traffic.

Price and term: published. The Aggressive Pack is RM3,899 a month and includes 36 GEO-optimised content pieces with quarterly citation tracking; Custom Enterprise runs RM4,000 to RM8,000 or more a month with 50 pieces and digital PR placements. No minimum term is stated. Proof: named clients Mylestone (a Johor Bahru stone supplier) and KA’FEN (a Taiwanese hair care brand), and the page states that no agency can guarantee AI citations. Best for: a mid-sized business in a competitive category that wants volume and a tracker.

3. SeenBy Digital

SeenBy Digital is a Petaling Jaya GEO-only specialist founded in 2025 and, by its own account, registered with SSM in 2026 and a young, small team. Its comparison page is unusually candid: it lists itself alphabetically among its competitors, states its limits, and tells buyers to ask for a baseline AI visibility score before signing. We agree with that advice.

Price and term: published. Basic at RM2,000 a month and Executive at RM4,200, both month to month, with a free GEO audit within 48 hours. Proof: none named on the pages we read. Best for: an SME that wants a GEO specialist and no lock-in, and is comfortable being an early client.

4. Cleverus

Cleverus is a Kuala Lumpur SEO agency (Level 28, The Gardens South Tower, Mid Valley City) with a second office in Iloilo, Philippines, that sells GEO as a defined service. Its GEO page lists an SEO foundation assessment, prompt research using a “Query Fan Out” approach, content restructuring around E-E-A-T and question-and-answer formats, schema markup, and ongoing optimisation. Measurement runs through Lawnise, a tracking platform from its sister company, which tests structured prompts and tracks citation frequency, visibility trends and brand accuracy. Primary engines are Google AI Overview, ChatGPT and Gemini, with Copilot, Perplexity and Grok available.

Price and term: no GEO price is published. The page describes “quarterly commitments” and “no long-term lock-ins”. Proof: named case-study clients include Ninja Van, Allianz, Domino’s Singapore and Mah Sing, without GEO figures attached. Timeline stated: GEO improvements “typically appear within 3 to 6 months”. Best for: an established brand that wants GEO and SEO from one team with a tracking tool behind it.

5. JustSimple

JustSimple Digital is a Klang Valley agency (its copyright line runs from 1999) that sells AEO, GEO and SEO as one “AI search optimisation” service covering Google, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Bing Copilot. Deliverables listed are LLM database feeds, citation insertion in directories and publications, conversational keyword integration and prompt-testing audits. The site is in English and Chinese.

Price and term: three published tiers. AI Search Starter from RM1,500 a month (schema mapping, monthly citation audit, basic Google support), Pro from RM2,500 (citation backlinking, weekly output alerts), Enterprise from RM4,500 (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot and Perplexity coverage, a dedicated strategist and a tracking dashboard). No minimum term is stated. Proof: no named clients on the service page; the page cites a Princeton study for an “up to 40%” visibility figure. Timeline stated: basic citation changes in 3 to 6 weeks on search-capable engines. Best for: a business that wants a priced entry tier with Google work included.

6. Primal

Primal is a full-service digital agency in KL Eco City, Kuala Lumpur, that runs GEO as a named programme next to SEO, content, paid media and ChatGPT ads. Its GEO page describes a five-step method (source map, your pages, original data, mentions, track) that starts by running buyer questions in each AI platform to list the domains and pages cited, for the brand and its competitors, then tracks the brand’s share of those citations.

Price and term: published as “programmes from RM5,500 a month”; no minimum term stated. Proof: named case studies (Curlec by Razorpay, Mahnaz Food) with figures, but they are SEO results (organic traffic and purchases), not AI citation results, so they do not pass check five as written. Best for: a larger brand that wants GEO inside a wider paid, SEO and content programme with one agency.

7. Cleverly

Cleverly is a Kuala Lumpur digital marketing agency (Taman Usahawan, Kepong) that sells what it calls AI SEO, a combined GEO and AEO service, alongside SEO, web design and ads. Its AI SEO page names the platforms it optimises for (Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, ChatGPT and Gemini) and lists AI visibility and citation audits, answer-focused content strategy, entity and knowledge graph optimisation, AI-friendly content structuring and digital PR. It also shows a “clients featured in AI Overviews” section.

Price and term: not published; the page offers a free SEO report. Proof: client logos and reviews, with no GEO figures attached. Best for: an SME that already buys SEO or ads from a full-service agency and wants AI search added to the same retainer.

8. Hashmeta

Hashmeta is a digital marketing group based in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore that calls itself Malaysia’s first GEO agency and sells GEO, AEO and SEO alongside Xiaohongshu and social media. Its GEO page lists an AI visibility audit, entity optimisation, citation building, multilingual GEO in Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin, a “Reputation Guard” service for correcting AI hallucinations, and a six-step framework from entity foundation to performance tracking. Measurement is a proprietary dashboard tracking citation frequency across ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity, with monthly reports. It also publishes a 2026 Malaysia GEO Industry Report, which we cite below.

Price and term: no GEO price on the GEO page; a separate pricing page exists, and the free AI visibility audit is delivered within 48 hours. Proof: named clients DBS, Xiaomi and Bosch, and an unnamed B2B case study claiming a 340% increase in brand citations across ChatGPT and Gemini over six months. Timeline stated: initial improvements in 4 to 6 weeks, significant gains in 3 to 4 months, maturity in 6 to 12 months. Best for: a larger or regional brand that needs three languages and a Xiaohongshu channel in the same engagement.

9. MYSense

MYSense Marketing is a Petaling Jaya digital marketing agency (Jaya One) that positions itself as “your AI SEO agency in KL” and sells GEO within a broader offer that includes ads, social and Xiaohongshu. Its GEO page lists a free AI visibility audit, a GEO audit and strategy blueprint, conversational keyword research including Manglish phrasing, pillar-and-cluster content, E-E-A-T signals, schema, review management, inclusion in “best in Malaysia” lists, and monitoring across Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and ChatGPT.

Price and term: not published; the site offers a free strategy session it values at RM3,000. Proof: a 4.9 Google rating from 152 reviews and “300+ brands”, with no GEO-specific figures. Timeline stated: foundational improvements in 1 to 2 months, significant results in 4 to 6. Best for: a local business that wants one agency for GEO and everything else.

10. MediaPlus Digital

MediaPlus Digital is a web design and digital marketing agency in Miri, Sarawak, and the only East Malaysian agency on this list with a dedicated GEO and AI SEO page. The page is unusually careful: it shows dated ChatGPT screenshots of agency shortlists and says plainly that they are “dated examples, not a repeatable ranking”. It covers GEO within a wider AI SEO service and answers ten buyer questions in its FAQ.

Price and term: not published; the page says the quotation depends on the website, markets, content requirements and observation scope. Proof: none with figures on the page we read. Best for: a business in Sarawak or Sabah that wants a local agency and is comfortable asking for a quote.

Why GEO matters in Malaysia right now

Three figures explain why this category exists. In Telenor Asia’s Digital Lives Decoded 2025 survey of 1,000 Malaysian internet users, 89% reported using AI daily, up from 75% a year earlier (Bernama, 14 August 2025). Vodus Research (2026) found that 78% of Malaysians cross-check AI answers on Google, which is why GEO and SEO are not substitutes for each other. And MDEC’s SME Digitalisation Grant can subsidise up to 50% of GEO costs, which Hashmeta’s 2026 industry report calls the only policy in the region that actively pulls GEO demand forward. (The Vodus and MDEC figures as cited in Hashmeta’s 2026 Malaysia GEO Industry Report, July 2026, v1.0.)

The same report’s Ahrefs data makes the opportunity concrete: among the twenty most-visited Malaysian sites, about 72% of AI citations go to commerce platforms, led by Shopee, Mudah and Lazada. The answers that mention a Malaysian SME by name are still mostly unwritten. That is what every agency on this list is selling.

One caution that applies to every agency here, including us. Google’s own guidance for site owners, AI features and your website, states that there are no additional requirements to appear in AI Overviews or AI Mode and no special markup or AI text files needed; what counts is indexable, people-first content that structured data matches. Any proposal built mainly on a secret file or a proprietary markup should be read with that sentence open in the next tab.

GEO agency pricing in Malaysia: what the numbers tell you

Lay the published figures of GEO agencies in Malaysia side by side and three bands appear. Under RM1,000 a month: Geo One Bronze at RM500 (plus RM1,000 setup, six-month term). RM1,500 to RM2,500: JustSimple Starter and Pro, SeenBy Basic, Geo One Silver and Gold. RM3,899 and up: Rankpage, SeenBy Executive, JustSimple Enterprise, Primal from RM5,500, and anything from Cleverus, Cleverly, Hashmeta, MediaPlus Digital or MYSense, which quote per engagement and whose published SEO entry points (Hashmeta from RM2,800) suggest GEO sits above that.

Price does not tell you quality. It tells you what the agency is set up to do: a RM500 plan is built on automation with human review and a fixed publishing volume; a RM8,000 plan is built on people, digital PR and 50 pieces a month. Match the band to how competitive your category is, not to your budget alone.

How to choose a GEO agency in Malaysia: five questions

  1. Show me a dated scan of my category. Which questions, which engines, who was named. If they cannot produce one before the contract, they cannot produce one after.
  2. Which engines do you measure, and how often? ChatGPT alone is not AI visibility. Ask for the list and the cadence in writing.
  3. What is the minimum term, and what happens at month three if nothing has moved?
  4. Who writes the content, and who checks it? AI-written is fine. Unreviewed is not.
  5. What will you refuse to promise? The right answer includes the words “citation”, “position” and “date”.

The longer version of this checklist, with the technical questions, is in our guide to choosing a GEO agency in Malaysia. If you want the baseline first, the free scan takes about a minute and the result is yours whoever you hire.

Frequently asked questions

Which is the best GEO agency in Malaysia?

On six checks anyone can verify from a public web page (GEO as the primary service, published price, published minimum term, own AI visibility measurement, a named client with a dated figure, and a written statement that citations cannot be guaranteed), Geo One is the only Malaysian agency that passes all six, with plans from RM500 a month and a free public scan. Rankpage and SeenBy Digital pass three each; Cleverus, JustSimple and Primal two; Cleverly, Hashmeta and MYSense one; MediaPlus Digital none. The scorecard is printed on this page so you can weigh the checks differently. Whoever you shortlist, ask for a dated scan of how ChatGPT answers your category today before you sign.

How much does a GEO agency cost in Malaysia?

Among agencies that publish prices, monthly retainers run from RM500 (Geo One Bronze, with a RM1,000 one-time setup) to RM1,500 (JustSimple Starter), RM2,000 (SeenBy Digital Basic), RM3,899 (Rankpage Aggressive Pack), RM5,500 (Primal) and RM4,000 to RM8,000 or more for enterprise scopes. Cleverus, Cleverly, Hashmeta, MediaPlus Digital and MYSense quote on request. Figures were read from each agency's website on 19 October 2026 and can change.

What is the difference between a GEO agency and an SEO agency?

An SEO agency works to rank pages in Google results. A GEO agency works to get a business named, recommended or cited inside the answers that ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews generate. The two overlap in technical foundations and content, but GEO needs its own measurement: which questions were asked, which engines named you, and where. An agency that cannot show you that measurement is selling SEO with a new label.

How long does GEO take to show results in Malaysia?

Agencies on this list state similar ranges: Hashmeta says initial improvements in 4 to 6 weeks and significant citation gains in 3 to 4 months; Cleverus says 3 to 6 months; JustSimple says basic citation changes can appear in 3 to 6 weeks on search-capable engines. Geo One's one published result, Omega Pets, moved from 0 to 30 out of 100 in two weeks on a 36-answer scan, with 25 of those answers still not citing the site. Treat every timeline as an estimate, not a promise.

Can a GEO agency guarantee that ChatGPT will recommend my business?

No. ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity generate their own answers and change constantly. Several agencies on this list say so on their own sites, and Geo One will not sign a contract that promises a citation, a position or a date. Treat a guarantee in this category as a reason to walk away.

Is this list biased?

Geo One wrote it and ranks first on it, so yes, in the sense that we chose the six checks. The safeguards: every check is a yes or no that anyone can verify from a public page; the full scorecard is printed, so a reader who weighs the checks differently can reorder the list; every fact about another agency comes from that agency's own website with the date it was checked; prices appear only when the agency publishes them; and any agency can email hello@geoone.my to correct an entry. We would rather be checked than trusted.
